On completion of the assessment, it is written up in a large report called a Form F and presented to the Adoption Panel, along with medical reports and your references. You will be invited to attend. All panel members will have read your assessment and may have some questions to ask you. You will also be able to ask any questions you may have.

From this panel, a recommendation will be made regarding  your approval which will be passed to the Agency decision maker for formal decision. You will be informed of the outcome within 7 days. If you are not approved you will be given details of the Independent Review Mechanism, to which you can appeal.
